For the first time ever, Prairie Bus Lines rolled into Ponoka’s Annual Santa Claus Parade, which took place in Downtown Ponoka on Friday, November 17th. The parade was a fantastic opportunity to promote PBL and be seen throughout the communities we serve.
PBL Driver Dean Reynolds and his friend Sheri Gram decorated a school bus with all of the trimmings and hundreds of lights. Bus Supervisor Denny Nilsen and his Lethbridge friends Shan and Dennis Elliott also pitched in to help.
Drivers Sandra Holben and Howard Issac were also on hand to ride the bus and hand out candy to the excited onlookers. The event was a real family affair, as Sandra’s daughter Brandy and grandsons Zack, Blair and Jack were also on the bus shouting Merry Christmas and handing out candy to the crowd. Dean Reynolds’ granddaughter Janane Hanna also joined in on the fun and enjoyed the evening.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make PBL’s first entry into the Panoka Parade a huge success!
